Best L. A. Kosher Restaurant: Fish in the Village

By Ilan Gez

Kosher food is extremely difficult to find in a metropolitan city simply because not a lot of folk are kosher and most restaurants find it tricky to remain constant to the kosher rules. Even under the kosher class, the hardest to find is seafood kosher. Nonetheless if you look closely enough, you would find some outstandingly great seafood kosher restaurants in Los Angeles.

The best seafood kosher joint in the town of Los Angeles is the Fish in the Village located on the Burbank Boulevard of the North Hollywood neighborhood. If you've been craving for some seafood and have been unable to get any because there aren't a lot of seafood kosher places in the city then you have to try this cafe cum food store. Here are some highlights of the Fish in the Village.

1. Fish is always fresh here:

The Fish in the Hamlet is known amongst the kosher fans as a place that often has fresh fish. In reality the stress is so much on the freshness that, sometimes, the place foregoes keeping a certain variety because it isn't fresh at the source.

2. Prepared fish items are brilliant:

While buying raw kosher fish here is great, the true brilliancy of the place is in its prepared fish dishes. The dishes are simply delicious and freshly made, which will have you returning again.

3. Variety of dishes is great:

Additionally, while the fish dishes are great, what's even better is the kind of variety that you're going to get here. You would get to make a choice from fried, griddled, tacos and even salads.

4. Service is proactive:

Ultimately, the service of this place is truly proactive and the owner would even come to you personally and ask you what you think about a certain preparation or some food item.
