Five Deadly Bodybuilding Mistakes You Must Avoid

By John Edwardson

Acquiring huge ripped muscles isn't a simple task and there is the right and horrendously wrong path to take regarding it. Listed here are five deadly but frighteningly common errors that will kill your chances of getting mega muscles.

1. Training to failure

It never ceases to amaze me that they actually teach people to keep on training set after set until they are completely exhausted that they virtually can't lift anymore. You don't see sprinters training until they can't walk so why train to failure when weight lifting. Yes your session should be intense but not to the point of fainting. The only time you need to go to failure is actually within sets. e.g. bench pressing the bar until you require a break.

2. Not logging your progress

A famous saying among online marketers is something along the lines of "You can't manage whatever you aren't able to measure". Just visiting the gym and randomly lifting a couple of weights is almost a complete waste of time. You must carry a record booklet along with you each and every time you set foot inside of the weights room. Record how much weight you use, the number of sets and repetitions you do as well as the rest time period between sets. Tracking how well you're progressing will help indicate to you where you're successful and also exactly where you need to work on.

3. Using too little weight

Big muscles require big weights. If you want your muscles to grow then moderately heavy weights won't do, they need to be very heavy or you won't see the gains you want. Muscle Building is easily one of the toughest challenges both physcally and mentally so don't expect it to be a pain free ride. Lift Heavy or don't bother lifting at all.

4. Relying on supplements

Supplements are heavily advertised all over the place, all promising to be the next best thing. Get ready for a shock. Most of them are a complete waste of money and some even detrimental to your muscle growth. Yes supplements can be useful but don't think that they are the be all and end all of bodybuilding nutrition. Water is by far the most important thing as most of your muscles are made of water anyway.

5. Looking through bodybuilding Journals

There's a load of helpful information in body building journals sadly there's also a great deal of nonsense in there to. That's fine you say, just simply stick to the beneficial stuff. Well now I ask you, how can you see them tell which parts are and aren't rubbish. Best advice is always to keep away from those publications completely and actually learn from people who know what they're talking about. Journals have an objective to earn money not necessarily to help make you huge.

That's it. Recognizing those 5 muscle building blunders means that you understand much more than what the majority of people out there who want to build considerable muscle.
