There are various advantages of home brewing and this can be seen on people's faces when they perform the job. You would imagine that home brewing beer would involve a huge cooking fire with a lot of copper kettles and soon, being prepared somewhere in the basement or even the garage in houses. Things are not like this anymore, and now the brewing has become comparatively easy and also less expensive.

Home brewing beer requires a basic kit consisting of a plastic bucket of 6.5 gallon volume in which the fermenting takes place. This should be fitted with a lid through which a stopper can be introduced along with an airlock. A bung or a stopper is needed and this fits the fermenter lid. An airlock fits the bung and is used on the fermenter lid. After filling the vodka, water or sanitizer, the carbon dioxide gas needs to escape through this airlock, when fermentation takes place. Other things needed are a whisk spoon, a brew pot of stainless steel, tongs, muslin or grain bags, and a dial thermometer for measuring the worts' temperature.
